Some Windows Phone 7 news

First off, here's an advertisement video from Microsoft which claims that 'The revolution is coming' (and apparently it will have blue rectangles all over the place?). I'm of the opinion that the revolution came in 2007 with the original iPhone and left everyone else in the dust, Microsoft especially. Right now, the only OS which is keeping up is Android.
I'm not the only one with this opinion - Samsung themselves say that Android is the way to go. According to them, there is no visible demand for Symbian phones (which I've always found buggy and annoying to use) and that there is only 'specialized' demand for Windows Phone 7. Translation: nobody really cares for it. It plans on using Android in its top-end phones and their own proprietary system, called Bada, in their cheaper phones.
This is actually a pretty good idea. While there are far fewer apps for Bada, and it will be much less flexible than Android, it will still appeal to people who don't care about apps at all. I know quite a few people who have cheaper Android phones but have never downloaded or installed any external app. Samsung will be able to cater to these users while increasing profits by not having to license some other OS (say Symbian).
